What a great amount of planning, practice, logistics and effort went in!
Congratulations to all of our group items as well as the many students who entered individual items. There are a great deal of little placing banners to be seen around school, acknowledging the hard work and also talent.
Thank you staff, students and parents for the part you each played. I am well aware that we are better together, but there are certain times of the year where community shines and eisteddfod is one of those. Our school community but also the wider community of Wellington
And so, we also want to congratulate and thank the Wellington Eisteddfod committee on the 2018 eisteddfod. Our eisteddfod, which is quite renowned, runs for three weeks every year. But I am not foolish enough to think that there is no work beyond that. I know they work for much of the year organising and planning. I also want to acknowledge the thought given to accommodating competitors and their circumstances in quite a personal way that would not be the case in all eisteddfods I am sure.
