Amie Gough joined the Board in 2019 after much prayerful consideration as to how she might serve the DCS and WCS communities to the best of her abilities.

She attends Dubbo Baptist Church and has called Dubbo home since 1995 when her family moved to allow both her parents to take up teaching positions at Dubbo Christian School. She graduated from Year 12 in 2000 and proceeded to complete a Bachelor of Nursing which then led into further postgraduate studies in Midwifery, Child & Family Health, Women's Health, Immunisation and a Masters in Midwifery.

Amie has worked in both the hospital and community settings and has served many Dubbo babies and families in these contexts. She has a particular interest in Aboriginal Health and education, where her more recent work with Charles Sturt University has allowed her to use her education skills and passion to support and empower Indigenous nursing students in a mentoring capacity.

Amie has been married to Jono for 15 years. They have four children, three of whom attend DCS and have done so since Preschool. Of foremost importance to Amie and her family is a deep and real relationship with Christ that is based on Biblical truth. Seeing these values reflected in DCS made the school the obvious choice for their children's education outside of the home. They continue to support the school both in prayer and practically. Amie views serving on the Board as a way to support the school to move strongly and positively into the future while maintaining quality Christian education and holistic school community development. « Back to Meet the board
